You should have completed, or shortly expect to receive, a PhD in organic chemistry or a closely related discipline, and be keen to work in a multi-disciplinary environment. Proven ability and experience in transition metal catalysed cross-coupling chemistries and/or conjugated polymer synthesis is required. The position is primarily concerned with the design and synthesis of a range of semi conducting oligomers and block co-polymers for use as the active component in bulk heterojunction organic solar cells.
