HOUSING SUPPORT WORKER :: LONDON, E1 - WAGE: £13.18 PER HOUR : 35 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY TO FRIDAY, DAYS - PERMANENT - EMPLOYER: EDEN BROWN RECRUITMENT LTD - JOB POSTED ON: 11TH JANUARY 2012 :: To provide housing support services to older people in (Sheltered schemes, residents in the community both in council properties and private homes) Providing face to face and telephone based support - on subjects such as: Meals on Wheels, benefits, community activities, assisting with living independently Risk assessments Mainly office-based with home visits to residents (including lone visits). Must have similar experience in supporting people (preferably older people) The council have taken over support services for this scheme and some residents are unhappy about the change.
